This month sees a few changes in the magazine – nothing major or terrifying, but as far as I’m concerned, long overdue. This includes the addition of a regular short tech section.We’ve increased Phone Home and we’ve also brought back competitions!

A Return to Gibberish

I went for a walk this morning.

It was even a real morning, and not one of those loosely-defined ones that I sometimes invent for myself. 11:15am is before midday, and for me this is something of an accomplishment. My so-called day job doesn’t start until almost 3pm; there’s little reason for me to rise early.

It’s Funtime Friday, that time of the week where all you want to do it put your head down, get through the day, call your boss a pr**k behind his back, get home, crack open a beverage of questionable health value and play something. Working on 201: Where the Magic Happens

In this post is my (actually rather clean) work desk. Yeah, boring I know, but it’s where I’ll be spending most of today slaving away on Issue 201 work. And I’m just a lowly freelancer!

In a new marketing push for Windows 7, Microsoft is about to launch an interesting competition in which students can win seven month’s rent for the house of their dreams. This is the text we were sent:

World of Warcraft Cataclysm Beta Starts in April
