As one of Fallout: New Vegas’ prime antagonists and the final boss in three of its four endings, Lanius – whose name, translated from Latin, means “butcher” – is a brute wrapped in myth. He’s one of Obsidian Entertainment’s most painstakingly crafted characters, and the stories surrounding him captivated Australian filmmaker Wade K. Savage so much he set out to creatively explore the character’s background through the medium of a production-quality fan film, Fallout: Lanius.
