You only download one of them. You can't delete a game off your steam list completely, but why would you want to?

So there's this new game out called Frozen Synapse. From what I can tell it's basically a tactical game where teams plot out a plan for their units, then when everyone is ready the plan is acted out and you see who wins. It looks remotely similar to Introversion's WIP game Subversion, which anyone who liked their previous games needs to look up.

Anyhoo, there's a 2-for-1 deal happening for the next few days. I'm gonna buy it, who wants the freebie (and will give it a go in MP)?

Yeeeeah don't really like it. >_> There's no point in all the strategy if the movements of the guards are random. The timing etc only works if you know what's going to happen, or have some idea of a regular patrol.

That would make the game disgustingly easy though. And it wouldn't really play like the multiplayer does, which I suppose is the main thing.

Basically you have to play it like you would any other squad-based game, where you assume the enemy is always going to take the best possible path, so you have to always be ready for the worst case scenario

If you buy it through an AU account it will be censored and isn't worth it. If someone gifts it to you from overseas (ie NZ) then you will be able to play the uncensored version IIRC.

If you have the censored version already, I think there is a guide to unlock the violence but you can only play with other people who have done the same.

Anyone got an opinion on Atom Zombie Smasher? Is it worth the asking price?

It's a RTS, you have a helicopter to pick up people before the zombies get them. Along the way mercenaries join you adding strategy to the game. All the units gain exp and level up, making the helicopter land faster or sniper team can fire faster. At the start of a level you place your units where you want them then it goes real time and you change the helicopters landing position, change the snipers aiming location, fire the artillery and detonate the dynamite.

It's good, there is mod support and it's 40 MB.

However, if you have the censored version you can use run this (https://sites.google.com/site/left4uncut/l4u) every time you play the game to get it uncensored. Unlike other patches, this allows you to still play with anyone.

in config.txt there'll be files in the steamapps folder for l4d 2, change steam appid to 250 instead of 210. or 550.

if it's a 50, change to a 10. or vice versa.

I've been lucky, I got Day of Defeat: Source. Given some of the titles available, it seems worth trading in the coal. But after hearing cases like yours, I don't know if I'll be trading in any more.
