***latest update***

I contacted everyone on the list over a few months leading up to March 08. Everyone who answered has their code in this post in black. Everyone who didn't has been moved to the third post (in red) and are assumed Missing Inactive. This will hopefully save people from entering a lot of dud codes.

I kept the red codes instead of deleting them because as sure as Nintendo's online service sucks you can bet that twenty people will reappear wondering what happened to their code as soon as Brawl comes out.

do you actually know your code? it should be right there on the address book (bottom right circle of the main screen), if you write that down and post it here you'll find that people will add it if you add the one's in the first post.

IMO if you add someone's Wii code, you should be able to send them a short message and they're added too.

IMO the whole code system should just have been a console thing, same as the DS.
Once you have someone's console code, ALL games are compatible, none of this code per game crap!

I'm pretty sure my list is up to date, even though it's been off line for months. The only way I can really fix that is to move the Wii to another room, and buy another TV to go in that room.

As for everyone else, This exercise seeks to prove that many of them don't really exist. I've already deleted a few names as I did the PMs, to accounts which had been banned or generally didn't exist.

If you have a person on your Wii Friends list you can send them an invite to ask them to join your Mario Kart list. You have to enable the Mario Kart Channel on your Wii menu (last option in the Mario Kart Channel when actually in the game) but after that, you can invite whoevers on your list and all they ahve to do is accept the invite.

Not sure about name changes, it only gives the warning about deleting them from the Mii Channel affecting save files. Experiment, start another license, then change that Mii's name, see what happens?

Can you explain how the Mii name affects things with the online play? do you enter your friend's Mii name and the code or something.

No, they come up as their Mii with their Mii name.
So for example, if I use my Venom Mii, then people will see me as Venom and my pic will be Venom.

You need to select one of your Miis to be the Licence holder (profile) and can have up to 4 saved Licences on the game.

well firstly you have to be new to nintendo online!!!! (less than 30 days)

in order to connect you wii to th internet folow this:

Then once your wii is online go to the wii shop channel and click on “connection ambassador”
then click “person who was helped” then type in wii number
