360 - AU hyperactive

Hi guys, I've been really busy playing online yet I never seem able to catch up with many Hyperians as they aren't on my friends list.

As most of you would know in the last dash update M$ in their infinite wisdom decided not to give us a clan list but some shoddy crap called friends-of-friends.

Anyway, I've started a silver account called AU hyperactive, to be used as a poor mans clan list.

Basically if you have AU hyperactive on your friends list and want to see if any Hyper crew are online,
you select AU hyperactive on your friends list,
push right on your D-pad or stick to get to the Personal Profile tab,
select View Friends then scroll down the list and either shoot out invites or join in on a game.

Why ? some of you may ask.
Well a few of us have maxed our friends list out many times.

This psuedo clan list helps the guys that have no room on their friends list, keep in touch with 99 other Hyperians that they may not be able to fit on to their list while only taking up 1 space. :)

So I've sent out heaps of invites, and some people will need to make room on their list and I'll send out more.

This is a cool idea. 100 of the most active Hyper players on the list at any one time should be very handy.

The other positive that I forgot to mention is that it can actually create some free space on your friends list.

If for example you have been keeping someone on your list but rarely play with them, as long as they are also on the AU hyperactive list, you can remove them from your list but are still able to catch up with them.

Very good idea. I dont seem to play online with my Xbox these days but I do wish to one day soon. My CS:S and TF2 clan is draining my time :S

If we wanted to add more than 100 people, would creating a second Hyper profile, adding that to the first profile's friend list work as a expansion?

No, you can't view a friends of friends friends list.

Well, just make two lists, and add them both as friends.

It won't work like that Blue.

If you were to create a second list, in order for every-one to access the people on it, you and every-one on the first list would have to also be on it, thus taking up the same number of spaces.

The only way to get around that is to make silver accounts for different subsets.
For example a friend of mine has made a silver account friends list for RTS players.

At the moment Hyper only has roughly 120-130 people with a 360.
And probably less than 100 actually play multiplayer frequently enough to need access to the list.

There are now 85 tags on the AU hyperactive list.
All the friend requests I sent out 3 weeks ago that were still pending have been deleted.
So if you want 1 of the 15 remaining spots you'll have to send a friend request.
