EDIT: Will catalogue collection when not busy. Try cleaning your room first you untidy bastard.
Maybe give us some clear bright photos of the games facing forwards. That way you dont have to catalogue anything. We'll see what you have.
Wow. So what's the photo below showing us exactly? Bet there's a month old sandwich somewhere in there.

^ This saddens me because the effort required to clean the room far exceeds what I could do. I need to hire a personal maid. It's much harder than you think, I didn't even bother to do GBA. No food in my room, only drinks. "Try cleaning your room first you untidy bastard." You sounds like either a mum or a nagging wife by saying that.

First off. Sexist !!! Lucky no real females post at hyper.
Try sharing an apartment with a messy bastard sometime. Im paying rent to clean up his shit.
Thats the thing about mess. Its not really noticeable until it's 'not yours'.
Looking at your room I suspect you dont want or own CHIBI-ROBO.

Let's not play games. It's sexy time. Name the park &/or public toilet block. And bring chibi-Robo. I'll open it with my teeth!!
It's much harder than you think
No, it isn't.
Anyway, it's been probably a year or so since I posted some pics on Hyper. Probably the last ones I will do before I move house in 3 months or so.
Overall, much of my collection isn't really displayed, just stored and there are plenty of consoles I would like setup on the various TV's I have, but alas I don't have the space or furniture to do it properly. Hopefully my next house will be bigger/better designed and I can get some decent shelving happening too.
Anyway, here goes:
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v112/chriscubed/Setup_010708_flash.jpg
Samsung 32" LCD with Saturn, 360, PS2, Wii, Xbox, Dreamcast, SNES, N64 and PC connected to it. Pioneer stereo is also connected for when I want speaker rattling 1970's stereophonic sound.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v112/chriscubed/psp_snes_sat_dc_010708.jpg
PSP games, random DVD's, SNES/random N64 carts, Saturn and Dreamcast games.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v112/chriscubed/ps2_xbox_gcn_wii_010708.jpg
PS2, Xbox, GCN, 360 and Wii games
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v112/chriscubed/psx_n64_dvd_010708_flash.jpg
PSX and N64 games. Random DVD/VHS on the lower shelf
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v112/chriscubed/controllers_010708.jpg
I upgraded from a cardboard box to a plastic one (which broke the day I got it).
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v112/chriscubed/cupboard_upper_010708.jpg
Top of cupboard, featuring Nintendo and Sega consoles.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v112/chriscubed/cupboard_lower_010708.jpg
Bottom of cupboard, contains Mega Drive/Genesis, Master System, Mega CD and NES games. More random consoles and accessories on floor level, my precious top-loader NES up front and 3DO above. When I move, I hope to get more of this on display.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v112/chriscubed/boxes_010708.jpg
More storage. From memory, mostly accessories and empty boxes for stuff I'm using. Some random consoles (CD32, broken PC Engine, Atari 2600, 7800 + Lynx) and other stuff I can't recall atm.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v112/chriscubed/bedroom_tv_010708.jpg
Bedroom TV (51cm), mostly used for watching DVD's. Master System and Mega Drive connected, and some GBA + DS games there too.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v112/chriscubed/study_tv_010708.jpg
My best CRT, Panasonic 68cm is consigned to the spare room. Super Famicom with Game Doctor SF7 and US SNES below, not connected. Hope to put this TV to better use when I move.

Well after scouring around, it appears that 3 pin connector is specific to the NGCD. So you'll either have to chase down a proper Power supply, or rig up some sort of mod.

What's the one in the right hand column, third from the bottom? I'm a bit of a dreamcast obsessive, but I don't recognise that one.If you're talking about the one with the girl on it, thats Comic Party. It's one of those dating esque sims that plaqued the dreamcast in its time (minus the nudity its PC version had).

Thanks. I'm pretty sure my ownership of most of them were unintentional though. I originally had a SMS 2, but when it broke, my folks picked up a SMS 1 with a heap of games, some of which I assume were the cards. I'm pretty sure I bought one or two though at the markets of something because two are fully packedged rather than missing the card sleve.
Just a shame I haven't really played most of them fully. My sms 1 has been plagued with issues, and its only been recently i've had the courage to finally open the bastard up and work it all out. I think I may have finally got it up and going, but I need to go install a new resistor before i'm willing to play with it too much right now.
Knowing me, the damn thing wont be fixed and i'll be begging for answers come next week <<

Saw the most trashy looking boxed copy of Crono Trigger at Game Traders today and still they were trying to sell it for $150 lol.
Whoever was looking for the Metal Gear games I saw the whole collection in GAME BIZ in adelaide 08 8362 1202, they also have the classic 3DO games going for very reasonable prices.
The 3DO was a classic gaming time. Road Rash, Need for Speed and Space Hulk (amonst overs) were YEARS ahead of there time in both graphics and playability. I swapped mine for a PS1 days before they became worthless due to the company folding. I had the original Panasonic version and spent $1000 back then.

Last week Hyper and the rest of the Next crew packed everything into a bunch of cardboard boxes in preparation for an office relocation. During the fray we unearthed a few retro carts at the bottom of a drawer, and as we settled into our new digs today we decided to give them a proper home.

I'm pretty happy with it. I would still like to own Kirby Air Ride, Sonic Adventure DX (coz my DC is starting to get screwy) and Baiten Kaitos Origins. And maybe MGS, Pikmin and Skies of Arcadia.

Shadow the Hedgehog is may be terrible, but SA2B and Riders are quite good.
Pfft. Sonic Riders is TERRIBLE. Control AND frame rate issues in a racing game? No thanks. Personally I found Shadow the Hedgehog to be competent, but unremarkable.
SA2B is again, passable - if only for the Sonic levels. The original Sonic Adventure is the only decent 3D Sonic title.

One day they'll do the Sonic brand proud. But no sign that it will be any time soon...

The C-Series (Cards)
this collection frigging rules! I hope that one day my collection reaches that level. I remember when those 4 graphic adventures were on ebay but I didn't bid on any of them because I didn't have a tape player back then. Now I got one but only have one game and can't find any more tapes :(

Lovely sega collection mate. Saw some of the stuff you had in the auction hut which was awesome. I've been keen on a Neo Geo, wonder if anyone around here has a vast experience in one.

Today I just found:
Double Dragon 2 for NES, with a badly tattered box and no manual.

Family Fitness for NES, box in great condition but it only contained the mat. No game cartridge or manuals.
3 PS1 Dance mats. Two of them still have the original packaging.

Double Dragon on NES - the only game I can think of where the button configuration changes depending on the direction youre facing.
