To try and make this forum somewhat less of the nuclear wasteland than it currently is, I'm opening the 'Avatar help thread'.

I am completely shit at anything more complicated than MSPaint resizing, so the idea is that you post an idea and then one of the more artistically gifted Hyperions makes you an avatar, or tells you to **** off.

If you make and post an avatar, then everyone who visits the thread has to pep your post. So if you're a stupid newbie with little reputation but l33t artistic skills, it's a great way to

To start with - I'm starting to think that my hilarious LMAO avatar might not be as amusing to other people as I first thought. To replace it, I was thinking of changing to one of the former Carlton player/coach and AFL commentator Robert Walls. But to keep the theme going, I wanted to get him in a Cultural Revolution era Red Guard outfit*, with a red background and the Chinese flag.

Is this doable?
