SWAT4 co-op

Surgeon and myself (and possibly Azzaman shortly) are trying to get some co-op going on SWAT4, so if anyone has the game and wants to reinstall for co-op related shenanigans, let us know.

I picked up a replacement copy today. Only $10 at eb's while their latest special is on. I'll be installing shortly.

I should qualify my experience here; I've really only played the co-op and multiplayer modes with mates at lans and tbh I've been fairly drunk half the time I played it ;)

Oh and it's been a bloody long time since I've played it.

My head does seem awfully prone to mystery bullets for some odd reason.

Seems like the kind of game that you can only play seriously for a short amount of time before it results in childish team-tazering.

Now back on topic; we gonna line up another night ladies? I had a good time even though I was incredibly rusty. I take great pleasue in opening doors on unprepared players and tazering people in the back during downtime.

Noticed that the other day, actually.

Deathmatch is balls, but I'd be up for some co-op sometime. You'll have to deal with our newbiness and tendency to tazer teammates in the nads on purpose at inappropriate times though :D

it's very tense. You cap the vip but have to hold him off for 2 mins wherever you captured him, so you could get him in a hallway and have a pretty good defensive position or you can get him in a courtyard or something and be very screwed defense-wise.

On offense you have to take down the entire swat team, then cap the vip (which isn't always easy) THEN hold it. It's a constant scramble from all sides, very fun.

And this isn't even including accidental kills of the vip which can be very hillarious.
