The curve at the top of the phone is all wrong and the cord's shit but otherwise pretty happy.
EDIT: Slightly better version.

Was originally a low polygon prop for a motion capture assignment but I decided recently to work on it some more.

Awww man I didn't actually want other people to post their 3D in this thread!
I mean, looks good. ;)
I finished my Mario animation, but had to hand it in missing some elements, so I'm planning to work on it over the holidays.

So it would look like I cared about other peoples 3D while just showcasing my own!
And I would have gotten away with it too, if it weren't for you meddling kids and your skateboards!

This thread has sort of died so I am going to post some more. Decided to try some toon stuff lately.

Looks good.
I'm currently touching up my final mario animation. I've already handed it in, but it still needs a bit of work. Will post when completed.

Something I did as part of an assignment. I used Maya Vector as the renderer to get the visual style.

maya vector renderer? ew why for?

maya vector renderer? ew why for?
Just get the achieved look. I a look at in a more conventional rendered (maya software and metal ray) and it looked a bit boring so I though I would use Maya Vector.
...maya vector render should never be used to achieve a look, unless you're actually trying to get a vector output. You should be able to get the same look with many more options by just going in the material's options.

It wasn't meant to be super accurate, plus it might of been an accident I didn't want to fix.

A tree I did recently. Took me ages to do and I am not quite sure if I like it really. There are one or two texture problems and the leaves are a bit bare in places.

A rework of one of a very early work.

My most recent piece of work. Should have an animated version of this up in a week or two when I get around to finishing it.

That jellyfish thing is awesome! Do you reckon you could do a Metroid?
You might get some people paying for custom designs if you're lucky!
VanAce

I could probably do a Metroid. It wouldn't be all that different to the Jellyfish.
I am animating the Jellyfish at the moment but one tentacle is being a pain. Should have it done sometime towards the end of the week.

*just noticed this thread*
I was inspired by the lowpoly thread on polycount, so I did some ultra low poly stuff with ultra low-res textures:

It's like my iphone, but low-tech like!
I liked it, then realised there's light inside and a shador from... what?

That's probably what you get when you just use the default light instead of setting up your own.
