Started on Feb 20 at 101.6kg, today weighed in at 81.3kg.

Finally got my new PC up and running. Had to reinstall windows cause one of my HDD's was ******ed, kind of a negative, but i was starting to really freak out about it and now that it's solved I can enjoy the awesome speeds :D

Just made my first successful overclock to the mhz on my ram. But i only took it up 55mhz as i don't really want to screw up my ram sticks to the point that they might get damaged. If your curious about giving it a try also, just google search SPD Tool 0.63. Don't worry, it's police free...

Well with all the fat off I have quite a lean build, so another couple kg won't hurt.

Up until the age of 25 I never weighed more than 70kg, then over the next five years it gradually went up.

So yeah, just want to get below 75kg before I scale back the program.

Was having some weird problems with my credit card when I was ordering something off InSound. Because it seemed too difficult for me to fix I cancelled the order but I still recieved the order. I contacted them and they had confirmed to me that it had been cancelled and that they must of accidentally sent it. So I have gotten it for free. I've been working in telecommunications (telephone systems and mobile fleets for other government departments, 2 years for a TAFE and I'm 3 months into a 6 month contract for another department at the end of which I'll have to go back to my lower paying TAFE job) but my experience with networks is pretty much limited to setting up my home network and moving cables in server racks to move telephones around. Be nice if I could jag this one, though. Go from my level 2 TAFE job, to my current level 3 to this level 4 one (an extra $10k a year on my TAFE job), especially since this is a permanent government job.

Been promoted at work from Admin to Graphic Artist. Going to be a bit of a challenge considering I've never had any formal design training. But the team assures me they'll be able to train me up on the job and there's a pay bump too. :)

Grats. Usually graphic designers fresh out of uni find it very difficult to get into the industry so they free lance for a bit hoping their works will get them in. But they also feel they need to represent themselves in their work. The problem with that is most hiring bodies want someone who can do tidy corporate designs and not personalized bullshit (pardon my french).

Yeah, I appreciate how lucky I am to gain such a position. It’s funny how I've just fallen into it when I’m sure there’s hundreds of grads who would give their right arm for such an opportunity. That said I’ve worked darn hard for the last year doing a “foot in the door” kinda role so I wouldn’t say I haven’t earned it. I guess the moral is work hard and even if the job you take isn’t exactly what you want to do, it may lead into something more exciting later on. :p

Cheers buddy. Fingers crossed. Your mate sounds like he's in a very similar situation to what I am. I did a couple of cert 3s at TAFE in IT (one was a general one, the other was a software applications one and I think I was only one unit off finishing a networking one) but that was way back in 2000 (does anyone else feel strange saying that 2000 was so long ago?).

It's good times all round at the moment. Got this job interview, I go on 2 week's leave at the end of this week, get to see the Foos and the D on Monday, possibly going on a road trip up north to see my best mate's new born baby and I get home today to an email that says I've gotten into The Old Republic beta.

Foo Fighters were awesome last night. They put on a great show. Tenacious D were good too (they said they've got a new album coming out soon and played a new song about saving the environment by building a Death Star). Was a good night all round. Was a bit disappointed Dave Grohl didn't come out during the D set and do the Devil parts in Tribute (or they could have played Bealzeboss as well) but it was still great.

Also, job interview went well yesterday. Apparently they had 30 applicants and are only interviewing three, so I've got a 33% chance of getting the job.

Friend adopted a little black kitten. Between the golden eyes, surreal fluffiness, mesmerising purr, general playfulness and good temperament, this thing is adorable. Hopefully he won't grow into a serial slasher.

I'm also amazed at how many cats tried to climb me at the animal shelter, as well as how good they are at undoing shoe laces. One guy came out of the cages with a kitten latched onto his back :D

My computer wouldn't start up this morning. Why is this a positive? I opened it up to check the cables inside, found that the power supply to the mother board was one quarter unplugged. My computer is running lightning fast now!! It's been sluggish for 6+ months and I had no idea that that could be the cause of the problem.

Either way, It was good to get a trip to see some mates I don't see that often again. Picked up my Star Wars Xbox today. It's so awesome. When you open the disk tray it makes R2D2 noises. And I don't mind looking like an idiot playing the games. In fact, I now have an excuse to take the master replica lightsabres I have in my wall cabinet down and wave them about.

The dancing has a strange sense of curiosity about it. On one hand it will make me look stupid doing it, but the SW geek in me is intrigued by the songs. I only listened to one, but they changed Hollaback Girl to Hologram Girl and altered the lyrics. Now I want to see what other songs they changed.
