HORROR, it looks like some stuff is missing. It looks like its missing corner brackets to screw into the bed head and end, for the hooks on the side boards to slide in to.

Some 2-3 hours later I realise that there are already pre-screwed bolts in the bed head and end, that you unscrew, slot the hooks over, and screw back in.

So now, at 11:30pm, I've quit halfway through putting it together and will have to sleep in the spare room.

So I go to turn the tv on and the stupid thing just keeps making a clicking sound and no picture comes up. Google suggests this is a 'relay click'. I find out that pressing a button on the remote makes the click faster, so after ****ing around it actually turns on but theres no sound. After more fiddling I find the sound sometimes works when i press buttons on the remote. I play around with the antenna at this point and then a combination of that and bashing the remote makes the sound work.

Seriously that is the most retarded kind of thing I have come across in terms of a tv playing up. Somehow there's must be a short inside that is affecting the powering of the unit and that has also affected the sound/IR receiving.

Hopefully Panasonic fix this shit or the powerboard manufacturer reimburses me, because this is just stupid.
Sometimes my Samsung LCD refuses to show any picture/sound at all. It'll just freeze up on the spot like a computer & none of the buttons work & even the power button doesn't do anything either! I have to physically pull out the plug to reset it & try again

Why the hell is everyone going nuts about 3D TV? The way everybody was going on about it I thought they must have found a way to do it without the glasses. I guess it's a bit thing that they can record and transmit in 3D, but it's no more impressive than releasing a DVD in 3D (which Coraline has already done). In fact, I'm not sure why you need a special TV to view 3D TV. Shouldn't any TV transmitter be able to transmit a signal where 2 images are slightly offset from each other? It all just seems like a bit load of marketing bollocks to try and sell more TVs to me.

This happened to me in Resident Evil on the Gamecube. Because I'm a survival horror nut, I know the most basic strategy, which is to save your most powerful ammo for the last boss and persist through the game with just regular crappy weapons no matter how dire the situation.

So I get up to the Tyrant packing both Barry's magnum and the regular magnum (with about 36 bullets) and, I still remember this exactly, as he was lumbering toward me I pull out Barry's magnum, ready for an epic fight, and say out loud: "Yeah, let's go!" BAM! - he falls like a sack of shit to the floor. Having played almost every survival horror up to this game, I think "Yeah, he'll jump back up and mutate or some shit as I run for the exit", but no, he stays face down on the floor, totally dead, as I make my escape and end the game.

I work in a bar. Yesterday at work one of the managers comes up to me and asks if I'd like to do an extra day of setup (on a tuesdays I usually move furniture and do keg delivery's, stock delivery's etc)

She specifically said that the Thursday setup shift would be more stock related, cleaning fridges, making sure the place runs smoothly, ordering stock (cause there's ****ing nothing worse than working in a bar that's not stocked and is underprepared)

So I did my usual shit today, and as I was signing off I offhandedly said to one of the new managers that in future I'd be in on thursdays as well so it's easy to get something done if i cbf on tuesday, and she turns around and goes

"yeh, I think our new venue manager has some gardening he needs you to do outside because it's a bit of a mess"

I was a bit taken aback, so I just said "oh, that'll be interesting..gardening" but inside I was thinking WHAT THE **** YOU STUPID SLUTFACE I'm not a gardener? and how the **** is this my problem?
