It's nice to see them trying to recreate the vibe of the old FMV intro videos but I'll still forever hold the intro to Mechwarrior 2 in my heart.

That said, I'd be pumped for a new HD Mechwarrior, that trailer looked awesome, but I'm dubious if its real time >_>

Cool ending with him falling into the mushroom cloud.

Lazlow - I remember that video. Nice to see they are a bit similar with showing mechs facing it off.

That said, I'd be pumped for a new HD Mechwarrior, that trailer looked awesome, but I'm dubious if its real time >_>

It does say 'in game footage' down the bottom right of the trailer, but it's hard to say how much that the game might differ from the trailer by the time it's released.

Personally I'd love a full on mech sim with virtual cockpit but given that it's coming to 360 that's never going to happen. Hopefully they find a good mix of sim/action.

On the topic of Mechwarrior, FASA intends to make Mech 4 Mercenaries and Clan Pack, Is Pack and MekPak 3.1 FREE in the near future. Possibly within weeks.

I'm hoping they do too, even if I'm going to be playing it on 360, it'd be cool if they still made it almost a mech sim, and kept other particular franchises more arcadey.

I've heard somewhere that the engine is Unreal 3 but I don't have any evidence for it.

I'll probably download 4 when they release it for free but I can't say I'm too excited for this one, unless it has some rad multiplayer.
