I had a conversation with a girl on MSN once who claimed to be Emma Watson. This was shortly after a friend had claimed to talk to her over the phone and then told me to add the address this person used in an unrelated conversation, and a few days after Something Awful featured an Emma Watson lover forum on their...forum article...thing.

It was weird. They kept asking how I got the address, said it was an old address of theirs, and then abandoned it afterwards. On the one hand I can't 100% believe it was her, on the other it's an utterly bizarre lie to tell, unless the intended effect was to have me confused for years afterwards (which isn't entirely unlikely). This was before the Moggo thread and all, 2004 or so.
