RAW tour in Perth was pretty shit. Highlight was The Miz working the crowd like a pro (I'm enjoying him more lately).

Sucks balls that Edge got injured as Edge and Jericho was shaping up to be incredible. Looking forward to finding out who Jericho's new partner will be.

CM Punk's heel turn has been amazing IMO.

His promo last week (week before?) about Jeff's two strikes and how Jeff has zero chance of winning at Night of Champions was just awesome. Shame the crowd was dead. He deserved better.

I'm liking how Hardy is the drug addict screw up and Punk is living the clean, respectable lifestyle yet he is the heel. Surely says something about the rednecks who attend the shows. Good shit.

Punk's gradual shift from babyface to tweener to inevitable heel is probably the only thing keeping me watching wrestling at the moment to be honest. Orton's heat has been largely extinguished by HHH boredom, and Jericho's weekly bitch sessions aren't doing it for me as much as they should. Until Punk's current turn, I was a bit disappointed with how his WWE career was going, but over the last month he's shown how much he's grown on the mic, and it's elevated his character tremendously. He's making Hardy look like a punk and the fans complete idiots for booing him. Not only that, but he's elevating second-tier talent, such as Morrison, in the ring too.

I never even thought of that! Can't imagine it would happen given he's in ECW title mix and another loss to that brand would make it a complete joke, but it sure would be terrific to have heel Christian back again. I was re-watching some his hilarious promos when he was best buds with Jericho only a couple of days ago - fresh off his $800 haircut and calling out to his peeps. :D

Yeah, UYAC wrestling thread is where the action is. The only reason why I bothered posting in this one before the forum maintenance was to expose dalmation as the liar and hypocrite and the sycophant that he is.

Also, Raw tour was shit? I thought it was pretty good. Definitely a trillion times better than an actual episode of Raw (less yakking, more cracking).

Nah bro. The card sucked. Cena not being there was a massive let down (he is a draw - accept it). Goldust v Kendrick to open the show?

Kofi was OK. MVP's match was a disappointment. Just throw him against Chavo, who has gone on to lose to Hornswaggle three times. Miz was the best part. Main event was good.

There was just too much white trash for me to enjoy it properly. And it was no better than any of the Smackdown shows we've had with lesser rosters. Not great.

(In fairness, the main event was probably the best match we've had in Perth since the 'E started coming back. Crowd was red hot - but for the rest of it they were dead.)

CM Punk with a promo of the year contender at NOC which made the live crowd look like absolute idiots, and drew mad heat as a result. What an excellent heel.

Try and find it online. It really was an excellent promo. This Hardy/Punk feud could be around for a while I think, and if Punk keeps up the stellar work, I'll happy to see it continue.
