What are you looking forward to or were but not anymore?

When I heard about Ashes Cricket 2009 I thought there was a light of hope until I saw the first screenshots a couple of months ago, but no matter its still in production right? Well with 22 days left for release they've shown their first trailer....

The graphics look so dated! Lame. Honestly, how can it be so hard to make one semi-decent cricket game? Super International Cricket (1994) is still waiting for a rival

I heard it was going to be awesome, but then we lost the Lord's test and subsequently the will to make the game any good dried up.

Yeah, put me down for Max Payne 3 too, once excited and then severly disappointed. Why don't they just call it Splinter Cell 6/whatever number they're up to?

Yup, I'm all for those. Brutal Legend is in a 'maybe' pile, everything else is must-have

I was looking forward to Starcraft 2...then two years passed.


At the moment really cannot wait for Brutal Legend. Everything I've seen so far has been totally awesome, and with hints that there'll be a lot of variation in the gameplay I've got my hopes up for a great game.

Ooh boy, you better believe I'm excited for this. And the next Professor Layton game should be getting a release here sometime in the near future too!

Bioshock 2 but am prepared to be underwhelmed by it.

Also, another romp with Geralt is well due.

ODST and Halo: Reach will be awesome, but the next game due for release that I'm pumped for is Madden 10.

I'm keen for Tekken 6 at this point. Gonna get an arcade stick for it and everything (mainly cos the 360 controller sucks donkey balls when it comes to fighting games).

Looking forward to Modern Warfare II, though admittedly more for the night vision goggles than the actual game. Sicne I don't have access to Live I'm sure I'll just blow through the single player and let the game gather dust.

Half Life 2 - Episode 3. Where the **** is it? I need to know what happens!
And more importantly, will we get a portal gun, or at the very least one of those sentry bots

Batman: Arkham Asylum is at the top of my list, and having watched some gameplay vids of it, Modern Warfare 2 has me excited too.

Alan Wake. But I don't remember why. Because it's mysterious? Because I heart Silent Hill 2 and still wait for a some kind of game with interesting characters and horror type stuff?
Don't even know what Alan Awake is supposed to be about.

But I'll give it a go when it emerges from the mist.
