Pretty much your usual 'what's the game you'd choose if you were shipwrecked etc blah blah faecal atoms what have you and so forth' thread.

Only one choice though. Any neckbeard who puts down a list is automatically from now on a official "smegma-taster".

My choice: Oblivion with mods

Gunstar Heroes. I would be happy playing Gunstar Heroes again and again.

Monster Hunter Freedom Unite.

Not my ultimate favourite, but alone on an island I could sure sink the time into it that's required.

If there's a good internet connection, Left 4 Dead.

If not, Planescape: Torment.

Final Fantasy VII. I've finished that game countless times and still enjoy it. Or pokemon Blue/Red.

You two should compare smegma notes.

You didn't say if there were an internet connection or not.

You should probably do that. It would be a good idea.

If there is no internet connection how did you get all the Oblivion Mods?

I'd probably take Diablo 2.

Now that I think about it, the last thing I would want to do on a desert island is play a video game I've played before. I would instead try and hunt for food and shelter and then dismantle the computer/consoles into its bare parts and try to make a simple radio or something that would be helpful in getting me off the island (that's not even considering what the source of the electricity is) so I can go home and enjoy new game titles instead of getting really really good at just one game and then eventually die from starvation, dehydration or exposure.

By smashing all the other survivors over the head with a hammer for asking stupid questions.

Then what happens to the one that makes stupid scenarios?

Besides, I don't think I would put myself in a situation where I could be stranded on an uninhabited island.

Man you have a terrible taste in games. Or did you put one too many "I"s in there and meant FFVI?

Gotta go with Oblivion, there was enough side quests (which I still haven't completed) and exploration in that game it would keep me occupied for a long time, then I could start a new character and do it all again but in a different order.

Lost in blue would be an amusing choice.

Otherwise I'd perhaps go with Warcraft 3 + DOTA. I suck at RTS and could hopefully at least build up my micromanagement skills if I'm stuck on an island.

Okay, a black ops team abducts you at 3am, bundles you up in a smelly sack and a few hours later you are dropped off at said island.

DCS BlackShark.

Would need to be a hardcore flight sim. Apparently the DCS manual is nearly 400 pages, so it would be something that would take an eternity to master, while still being rewarding.

Additionally, it's a deserted island. No-one to accuse me of being a geek while I'm playing! It's win-win. Not to mention I'd practically be able to fly a helicopter if there was ever a lost type scenario. Actually I don't really watch lost, I just remember seeing an episode where there was a chopper on the island or something . . . Lost was pretty lame . . . hmm, It would seem that I've gone off on a tangent.

I've got a big, strong gate in my driveway, so they wouldn't be able to get through.

I thought about that, but I'd be worried about the amount of sand that could get into the instruments.
But I guess that's a moot point.

On that note, wouldn't a hentai dating sim work wonders? As you neared death, you could hallucinate that the sim was real and die happy in the knowledge that your hard work won you a relationship before you died.

No... no the guy I bought the gate from guaranteed that nothing would be getting through that gate, it's a very strong gate.
