Am I the only one who's bothered by people failing to follow the basic guidelines of the HAH? >_>

These ones (http://www.hyper.com.au/forums/showthread.php?t=5635)
Specifically:
* When indicating that the sale is complete, the seller must state the name of the user sold to, as a reference for the moderators and administrators should any problems arise.
* Bids must be displayed within threads. If bids are made via Personal Message (PM), then they must also be displayed within the thread. This is to ensure fairness, and a more transparent process. Only bank account numbers, home addresses and other such sensitive information should be kept to PM's.

Then he should probably say that to avoid confusion. Also what's with editing out all the text in the original post?

Should make it so you can't edit posts in HAH

But then people wouldn't be able to update the status of items or change prices.
In future, please do not remove entire contents of important posts.

Then they just make a post about changing prices.
(It's how PalGN does it, you see...)
It's especially fun if you post mistakes in your OP :D

Ahh, sorry guys didnt know this would cause such dramas.
Ended up finding a PS3 to trade with but the idiot ending up selling it on ebay or some crap, so a mate is buying the xbox (doesnt use the forum).
I deleted the post because on an old sales forum we used to do that and edit the title to show moderaters the post should be deleted. but on hyper the title doesnt seem to chage.
ill edit it again to specify to those i offended.

Just make a post saying "sold it elsewhere, lock thread."
Only mods/admin can edit thread titles here. All that probably happens when you do it is it changes the "title" on your first post but doesn't actually affect the thread title in the forum.

The problem isn't this thread so much, but instead the fact that such an occurrence is becoming more commonplace.
