What Video Game sites do you guys regularly visit or have features that are really worth reading? I'm quite bored right now so I'm looking for some quality writing about games to read.
The only games site I goto outside of forums is Eurogamer. They have regular articles so maybe check it out if you haven't already. Oh the escapist does good articles too.

Critical Distance (www.critical-distance.com) is a pretty neat read, even if it is only for the few featured games. It's got a bit of the Wikipedia vibe about it, in that you start reading and then keep clicking from page to page to page.

PALGN & NintendoLife, Eurogamer I read sometimes. Try to avoid those websites with too many ads and limited reading space despite having a widescreen monitor (IGN, Gamespy)

Palgn, yep. Also look at 1up pretty regularly (they're not my bible, I just like 'em!).

Eurogamer (http://www.eurogamer.net) for news and reviews. Eegra (http://www.eegra.com) for laughs, opinions and game analysis. The Nintendo Basement (http://www.thenintendobasement.com) for Nintendo stuff (obviously). Offworld (http://www.offworld.com) can be OK sometimes.
I also occasionally visit a few different blogs. There's some pretty interesting ones out there. Sean Malstroms blog (http://www.seanmalstrom.wordpress.com) is usually a pretty good read. It has a Nintendo focus, but there are often posts about the wider industry.

Myself and Jickle (and a few other shady characters around here) will tell you that, along with Hyper, Pixel Hunt (www.pixelhunt.com.au) is the best Aussie multi-format magazine thing-a-ma-jig around. Plus it's free!
If you're after good features then probably shop around a few blogs and see what floats your boat. Kotaku AU often has a Sunday Supplement spot that highlights some great spaces for thoughtful game discussion.

Kotaku, Joystiq, GamaSutra, Giant Bomb, GTAGaming and Sony Defense Force for a laugh.

Giant Bomb (http://www.giantbomb.com/), I think most of their meaningful discussion is in podcasts though, and if you're not allready familiar with the group it takes a little effort to break into (ala Hyper forums :p) - but is totally worth it, great guys (unlike Hyper forums).

Their video reviews are well done too (they even have their own iPhone app for a couple of bucks), but yeah the best stuff is definitely contained in the Giant Bombcasts. They're well worth a listen.

I considered buying the app, without having an iPhone, just to support the site

As a sister thread to FX's "What Magazines?" poll, what websites do you peruse for the gaming news?
I won't add a poll at this time because there's so many possibilities (and I can probably only name a few) but if there's a consistent ten answers maybe a mod can add one later - I don't know if I can once I've made the thread?
Anyway, I read
Eurogamer
Kotaku AU/US
Joystiq
Penny-Arcade
Each of which I have bookmarked. I don't have IGN bookmarked and feel it's an act of desperation when I type the letters into the address bar, although I mainly want movie news when I go there.

Joystiq
Kotaku
Penny Arcade
IGN (well, I don't really read IGN, so much as abuse it for trailers and video reviews)
Sometimes I'll venture over to Gamasutra and 1UP, but not too often.

Destructoid (http://www.destructoid.com/)
I don't read anything else, I find that site gives me more than enough. Down to the smallest insignificant crap that still ends up being a good read. There are US and UK journalists so a fair bit is covered, plus Australian news gets in there; most of it at the moment is about our lousy classifications.

I go to IGN for Jessica Chobot, every site is saying the same thing, I mayaswell receive it from a hot female in video form.

Eurogamer for news and reviews, Kotaku just for news.
EDIT: and merged with existing gaming website thread.
**** slowtaku, Destructoid4Lyfe.
I don't really got to many gaming websites, most of them are shit. Insomnia is interesting, but he's a total ****wit.

Every few months I trawl through the ign editor's choice section for various platform, to see if there are good games I may have missed out on.
Apart from that, I don't really have the time to looks at gaming sites, hence why I buy VG magazines.
