Remember reading about this a while ago, but things went quiet on the news front. Sounds quite interesting. Hoping it turns out good, cos it'd be nice to have something on the shelves other than 'waggle-party' games.

We're playing the few good games there are as well as GameCube and VirtualConsole/WiiWare titles.

Currently, it is Bonsai Barber, Klonoa & Wii Sports Resort (Klonoa is absolutely amazing, totally want the second one remade for Wii, or I'll have to track it down for PS2)

So it seems Cursed Mountain is actually getting some decent reviews. (http://www.metacritic.com/games/platforms/wii/cursedmountain) Basically, it's a very traditional survival horror-type title with excellent sound design and dodgy - both motion and regular - controls. I'll definitely pick it up when it's on the cheap.

Yes it seems likes its getting just above average reviews but I think I would enjoy it. Will see how much it is upon release but I suspect itll go cheap pretty quickly ;)

Yeah in this economic climate if they want a game to sell then they need to price it around $30 - $40, instead of $80 - $100. There's always the Christmas sales to look forward to.

Damn you're posts are weird. Anyway, if this game was cheaper, it'd be a great piece disposable entertainment + rapid trade in. I'm a bit disappointed that the scares, according to some reviews, are largely of the spring loaded cat variety, since it seemed to be going for a more slow paced, atmospheric feel. Oh well, I'm sure Silent Hill will more than deliver on that front :).

I will try to give impressions of the game in a few days... That is if I can manage to totally ignore Arkham Asylum which I just received today.

Sadly I won't be able to give impressions on this game. I sold my extra sealed copy on ebay. And then I offered my own copy to one of the other bidders. I had no desire to play it though when I could be playing Batman. May pick it up again in the future.

So, this has got mixed reviews .. I'm interested but not sure if it's worth it ... seems like my type of game, and there's other games with mixed reviews in the past that I really liked .. (such as Killer7) .. anyone played this in any depth?
