Father's Day Gift Ideas

Either going to get my Dad a variety of different beers or a Snuggie.

Leaning towards the Snuggie cos you get 2 for 1 and I can keep one for me!

I'll probably get him the last part of the last series of Battlestar Galactica on DVD.

I normally just ask what he wants, which generally turns out to be a specific DVD, which I then go buy and give to him in the bright yellow JB bag (though I do remove the receipt and pricetag). SURPRISE.

I dropped all contact with my father in 2002, so Father's Day is a breeze for me! But you can't go wrong with alcohol (unless your dad doesn't drink, I suppose).

I find DVDs to be a shit gift because they generally only get watched once. Jickle's right too, I normally get everyone alcohol and encourage them to open it while I'm there.

See, I know my dad, he absolutely despises weekend TV, so he usually watches at least 2-3 DVDs every weekend. Hell, he watches the entire Lord Of The Rings Extended Trilogy every month or so!

I'm thinking I might just get my dad a nice watch this year although he has had a lot of those over the year's so maybe something a bit more original this time around. I don't want to spend to much on something that's just going to get the cupboard shelf maybe I will get him imported beer I know he will use that.
