Wow. No replies. And I thought Hyper had a hardcore Nintendo64 fan base. Guys n' gals who would jump at any opportunity to buy new official controllers. Ah well. I bought mine so that's all that matters. Went with one of the colours I didnt have (bright yellow). Considered black but I have so many black controllers already I thought I'd live a little...

Wish I had one of these BANANA controllers. BTW DK64 sucked (a little)

I might pick one up, though it'd be easier to just get a new joystick I think.
I hadn't seen this thread - thanks super_deformed! I'm on it. Only got one good one left...

What colour jay? I'd suggest RED if you haven't already got a red one.
I picked up a Hori Pad Mini for my 64 a while ago (was around $70 IIRC) because all my controllers were ****ed and I needed one that would never wear out.
Just bought a black and grey controller and chucked in a Passport Adapter Version 3 so I can start picking up some NTSC games. Good work on finding this stuff out super deformed (I would pep you but its gone :()

Cheaper = Easier for me. Easier to justify at least, seeing as I haven’t played my N64 in years. Replacing the entire joystick is less fiddly than you’d think; I pulled apart and cleaned all 5 of my joysticks without any trouble back when I was 13. I’m sure they’re still available at a pretty low price.
Not that I’m saying this isn’t an awesome find – If I was short on controllers I’d definitely be buying :)

Last time I checked Gametraders sold replacement sticks.

I was thinking about red - I don't have a red one (got green, blue, yellow, black and a translucent grape one).
I'm probably rarely going to use, but it's nice to know I can bust out MK64 multi when required (with original controllers - i have dld it from the VC, but it's not quite the same)

I need a few because I now have a couple of broken ones courtesy of Mario Party 3. Bloody hell my friends can jam those buttons hard!

My yellow N64 controller arrived today (yay!). Very happy that I went with this colour.
I kinda expected the box to be a little shop soiled. But no. Perfect brand new condition.
Yeah mine arrived too, I pulled it out wiggled it a bit and then put it away (cause I'm moving :P)

Darn, just noticed this and I brought 2 from eBay yesterday. They were cheaper and used though, they say "firm control stick" but I'll find out when they arrive. Might get 2 from play asia...maybe.

I looked on eBay but I cant seem to find any, saw some a few months ago tho.
I was going to pick one of these up but I figured it would just be buying one for the sake of it.
Considering that I already have 5 perfect controllers and one average one, I figured it's not really necessary.
