So guys, I'm officially being made redundant next week but before it goes down, they are sending me to Adelaide for four days to help train the new manager and team over there.

Anyone keen on catching up for a beer? I can't have any massive nights as I will have to show up for work each day but would be happy to have some dinner and a few cheeky drinks.

Which Hyperians are keen?

As far as I'm aware they are funding the entire thing, and I will be smashing the mini-bar. In saying that though, once it gets closer to the date I'm sure they'll give me some guidelines.

Next Monday 21/09 through to Thursday 24/09.

Obviously it would have to be before Thursday as I will be leaving in the afternoon.

This is almost identical to the plot from Outsourced, only in that the dude being fired went to a different shithole - Bombay. If said movie is anything to go by, the initial challenges in training the new staff will eventually be toppled and you'll end up starting your own company that does the same thing as the one you left.

If you get on a tram it takes you straight in. It's not too far out.

I have been asked to train my replacement before and I flatly refused and walked out.

Get on the plane (make sure you have the return ticket) then say fk em and party in adelaide.
