The second game in the Professor Layton series. Out here on the 24th of September.

I didn't play the first but I always wanted to.

Saw in the GAME catalogue that I can get the first game free when I buy the Pandora's Box (Professor Layton and the Diabolical Box everywhere else in the world)

It sounds different. Maybe it's just my memory, I'll try and find my copy of Curious Village later and check. I have no idea where all my DS stuff is, I haven't touched it in months. I was surprised I was able to find my DS at all.

I picked it up today from Game and they giving away the first game away for free. I never played the first one so I am going through it now. Hopefully I will be playing the 2nd one soon so I can actually comment on it a bit more.

Playing the 2nd one soon? Hahahahahahaha. (I'm assuming you are going to play them in order, if so, don't hold your breath!)

I guess you could play them both at the same time - but it would be pointless, best to pick one or the other and stick with it.

Also, finished this last night. It was pretty good, but the final reveal wasn't as good as the one in Curious Village.

Just for anyone that's interested: Frozen, you were right, I just heard the voice for Luke in "our" version of the game and it is most definitely different to the voice in the US version (the one in the original game).

I knew it!! Here I was thinking I was crazy and I was right all along. Why the **** did they even bother changing it, Layton has the same voice :/

Probably the same reason they changed the name of the game itself to Pandora's Box.

Coincidentally, if anyone could provide the reason that they changed the name of the game itself to Pandora's Box, it'd be much appreciated.

Order it in from GAME, they have free postage. eBay are kinda dodgy for DS games :/

I started to play Pandora's Box and I am liking it so far. So far more of the puzzles seem to relate to the story more.

The puzzles are definitely much more relevant, but they're all much better, too. I guess not everyone's had such a puzzle-nerd-childhood as me but I really breezed through Curious Village, and had heard a good tenth of them before.
