It's that time of year again :)
Sony's keynote should be starting in about 5 minutes time, here is a link (http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/tgs-2009-sony-keynote-live) to Eurogamers live feed.
Discuss news and announcements in here!

Kaz is banging on about a whole bunch of boring shit at the mo, no major announcements yet.....
EDIT: PS3 wand due to launch (northern) spring 2010.

Talking about the motion controller, going to launch (I assume global?) in Autumn.

Looks like no mention of a "UMD solution" for the PSPGo.
EDIT: Sony just announced a price drop for the Wii.
EDIT EDIT: Wait, I think Nintendo announced a Wii price cut during Sony's keynote.
EDIT III: This stuff about "emotional input" is just embarrassing, Kaz. You're starting to sound like Krazy Ken!
EDIT IV: Looks like Sony's press conference was entirely content-free. Apparently Gran Turismo 5 is "65% complete".

Yup, there was literally nothing shown or announced that hasn't been shown or announced before. Biggest news is that the wand is about 6-9 months away.
Meh.
EDIT IV: Looks like Sony's press conference was entirely content-free. Apparently Gran Turismo 5 is "65% complete".Wait, that doesn't add up...... PD take 5 years to complete 65% of GT5? SO this means they will finish the remaining 35% in the next 2 1/2 months for the proposed x-mas release?

I don't think anyone was seriously expecting GT5 to come out this year, to be honest.
Also, that number appears to be from a TGS program book that shows how complete the version being shown at TGS is, so it's possible that it may be an older build.

Wait, I think Nintendo announced a Wii price cut during Sony's keynote.
Yo Sony, I'm really happy for you, I'mma let you finish... but I have the best TGS announcement of all time! OF ALL TIME! :p
Seriously, no UMD solution = fail. PSP Go is dead already.

Is GT5 the new Duke Forever?
Seriously what's taking them so long?

They took a bunch of notes during a Forza 3 showing, and have gone back to the drawing board.

Don't forget they have been developing GT PSP as well.
Don't forget they have been developing GT PSP as well. For five years.
So that's ten years for two games. Much better.

They should've shelved PSP GT already to concentrate on GT5.

The Sony motion-control solution is ridiculous.
As long as they aren't forced I kind of like them, it's something that seperates it from the 360.

I don't understand why they just didn't emulate the Wii Remote design. Afraid of looking too derivative? Hasn't stopped them before.

Sony's solution is a tad more advanced...

He was talking aesthetics.
Anyway, where the hell are the games for the motion controller? Why even bother publicly announcing a release date for the controller when they haven't shown a single real game for it? It's beyond a joke.

RE5, LBP, Pain and Flower will support motion controls for a start.

It says RE:5 Director's cut will use the motion thing, so does that mean people would have to rebuy the game?
You'd think they'd release an update for the existing version.
I haven't bought it yet anyway >_>

I hope they get rid of the white zombies in the directors cut, I want the true Africa experience.

Thus far all his posts in this thread are defending Sony.
Meh, I just remember him being a lot worse so it doesn't bother me so much now.
Any news about Street Fighter 4: Second Impact at the show?
