......and GOD I'm excited! LOVED this game on the good 'ol 16bit systems!

1up story...... (http://www.1up.com/do/previewPage?cId=3176349)

Coming (apparently) to PC, 360 and PS3, going by the article and looking at the screen-shots, this is one for RKA and retro fans to get buzzed about.......cos I am (if you couldn't guess)!!

I loved Rocket Knight Adventures (and still do!) but am unsure about the look of those screen shots or Sparkster's redesign. And where are the pigs?! Still, it's early days, might keep an eye on it.

Those screens just look...weird. I don't know exactly what it is, but something seems off there.

The pigs are now good guys.

rocket knight adventures and earthworm jim are my all time favorite 16 bit era games.

I absolutely didnt see this coming, although i'm glad to see they seem to be taking it seriously (even to the degree of making the plot compatible with the older games!).

There's other Konami games I'd rather see, but I guess it's good to see an obscurish game get a remake.

Rocket Knight Adventures is obscurish now?

It's not very well known. One of my favourite 16 bit games though.

I'd put it with Plok, Dynamite Heady and so on. Us gamers would have played it, but most kids back in the day would have stuck with Mario or Sonic.

Hmmm. Well everyone at my school seemed to have heard of it, just got lucky I guess. >_>

The old game looked better...

I think it looks good, sorry to break from popular opinion. At least it's not a 3d reboot (a-la PS2 Contra or those rubbish Castlevania games). I'm hoping it turns out at least half-decent!

Im all up for classic games being remade with todays HD graphics. All I need now is Metal Slug HD.
