Recommend me a PSX RPG; preferably not J ok?

I've had my step-daughter's PSX for a while now not doing anything so I need to hunt me down some games for it and move it into the bedroom.

Any good RPGs?

Seriously though, Stormin's right, /thread, Vagrant Story is pretty much as far away from a 'JRPG' as you're ever going to get with a Japanese developer making the game.

Vagrant Story is probably the best of the litter that will suit your taste.

I think that Legacy of Kain is the only non-Japanese RPGish game that I can think of for the console right now.

Jade Cocoon, it didnt recieve the recognition that it deserved, it's a short game, but if you love to merge beasts and see what wierd looking creatures you can come up with, it can be quite fun. And also Final Fantasy IX, just dont play it for long periods, otherwise you'll be bored quite quick. The battle music got to me, it got so repetitive.
