Unsolicited Magna Carta 2 optimism is not to be tolerated on these forums.

Magna Carta? Isn't that a historical accord that relates to the establishment of law and order in society?

And its a game too, obviously...*googles*

Forced onto King John in 1215 (?)

These days, however, it holds even greater importance as a subpar Korean JRPG.

And the lesson for today kids is...you should never play with another's member when drunk. :p

The worst thing about not being a mod anymore is being unable to read deleted posts (well, that and the lack of sex that obviously went along with the job). I so wanted to see what went down. :)

Possibly the only person in Australia buying it. I've been stung too many times by bad JRPG's on the 360 atm.

But isn't it a KRPG? Is there a difference?

yeah, the first game didnt feel entirely Japanese, the art direction especially.

One colonised the other?

picked this up thursday. I never got to play much of the first but what little I did interested me enough to pick this up. To be honest I picked it up because I liked the in game graphics/artwork (yeah shoddy reason i know) but it's turning out to be an enjoyable game. Stories intriguing and the combat system is pretty well laid out.

Hyung Tae Kim's artwork is really the main reason to get this game.

well im at the final battle, and im glad i bought it. 50hours well spent. there were a couple of annoyances in the 50hours, but over all a pretty fun game. the battle system is good, and theres plenty of things for your characters to work towards. the graphics are extremely average though..

I'm at the start of disc two. But at the moment I've been taking a break from gaming in general even though there's lots of things I'm still interested in in this game, especially minor details.

like what will happen to Melissa in the end

I've already missed the quest achievement. went and quickly looked up a guide once I finished the first disk and discovered what I'd missed

I'm glad you guys are enjoying it. I'm pretty tempted, but with Borderlands, GTA IV DLC and Forza 3 to finish (not to mention Dragon Age, MW2 and L4D2) I just don't have the time to take a gamble on a game I probaby won't enjoy.

FF Freak, I will not take your comments seriously. You enjoyed SO4 :p

I enjoyed SO4 after the 4th planet...it was pretty dull pre-that. I'm finding these characters are a little less shallow and annoying then the SO4 characters (kay!) though Celestine (I think that's her name) annoys the hell out of me. love obsessed characters ftl.

But then again LARZ you don't seem to be having much interest in Japanese RPGs now a days reading most of you posts in various threads so maybe you should stay away from this :P

And I know what you mean by lack of time. Also looking forward to L4D2, Dragon Age and MW2. (sadly waiting on ghostbusters to come out also so I can trade in ym import).
