I need a split-screen racer to play with the gf! Any advice?

Mashed Fully Loaded. It's not split screen but it's multiplayer and awesome.

Original Xbox. Find a copy, it works. Original Mashed doesn't though.

It's a real bummer this generation of developers is content to replace split screen with online.

Most of the new Need for Speeds don't include it, same with GT: Prologue (I think) and I'm fairly sure Codemasters doesn't bother with it either.

So Forza's your only option, although even it wasn't I'd probably recommend it, darn fine game from all accounts.

Pretty much every review I've seen of Forza 3 expresses surprise at the inclusion of split-screen multiplayer, which is a bit of a sad indictment on its exclusion from most other recent racing games.

It's better than any arcade racing game of this or previous generations, and will be more fun than any simulation as far as multiplayer goes. Don't need to split the screen either, which is brilliant. 10/10, unbridled recommendation. Ask EB to find you a copy.

Burnout Revenge! Split screen multi with up to 4 AI opponents and various racing types. Much more fun than your racing sim.

I would've suggested Burnout Paradise but i'm sure it doesn't have split screen.

Balls! I sold mine assuming that it didn'tI gave up when I heard Mashed didn't work, but it didn't occur to me that Fully Loaded would. I've got it on PS2, but I'd rather have it on 360 obviously.
