So after yet more impulse spending I bought one of these Dish Jockey things my brother told me about, but it's a piece of crap - it doesn't even work properly and I can't believe I was stupid enough to buy one.

I saw an ad for that and assumed it was a parody

Same. I thought it was a website full of ad parodies and just skipped over it. I can't believe anybody would actually buy that crap.

Damn, what a shitty product. You should have bought the miracle blades, instead.
For Christ's sake, it isn't a real product. It's viral marketing for Dunlop Volleys. I mean, ****.

I used to think that washing the dishes was just for women and certain ethnic minorities. Now, thanks to Dish Jockey, I'm scratching out sweet suds and mixing dope detergents all night long.

To promote something, don't you have to say good things about it?

I don't get how the device is meant to do things, isn't it quicker and easier to just wash the dishes normally?

Looks crap. The gig viewer on the other hand... now if I can just find my credit card...
Don't we have rules against this sort of advertising? I'd say a ban is in order.

Being aware that it exists is enough.

Unless there is a ban for "crap jokes by ninjas on forums" I don't think that will happen.
So Australian Ninja is also being paid like Aub and I to promote things on this forum, interesting.
I assume you are joking, but feel free to send me money anyway.
*I actually wrote an email of complaint, but have yet to hear back from the company. I asked for real money to be refunded for their fake product.
EDIT: checked my email and I have two responses for them, both obviously automated responses. Apparently I'm in their "fake" competition for their imaginary product, for which I have no "real" enthusiasm.

A society can best be judged on how it treats its weakest and retarded members.
Well there used to be nep, I'm not entirely sure how we do it now.

After much criticism on this forum I regrettably traded my dish jockey at a local swap meet. Unfortunately all I could get for it was half a Sham-WOW and the battery from a Nokia N-Gage, but I don't even have the phone
......... FAIL!

At least I can invent my own rhythm-action game while washing dishes though...
-"Wash the dish"
"Wash, wa wa wash wash THE DISH"
-"Dry the dish"....
