No, though I agree that the way the topic was worded, and the direction some - not all, but some - of the discussion had taken (including a cheap post by me) was veering towards distasteful. If the community was capable of discussing things in a mature fashion then more often than not these things wouldn't get locked. But it seems that is too difficult for a lot of people.
