Guyz the internet is no place for jokers alright

If that were the case then why do we have a Sony General forum on Hyper?

2.5-inch SATA notebook hard disk, 5400-RPM is what you need and I what I used but apparently 7200-RPM drives work too according to the google.

No idea on brands though, I think mine might be a Western Digital but I can't remember.
But I got no complaints with it!

On the topic of hard drives...say my Phat PS3 is broken and I buy a new slim PS3, can my old hard drive work in the slim one?

When replacing a new HDD for the PS3. A 5400 rpg drive is sufficent, since 7200 rpm drives does really have much of a performance boost and will generate more heat. Try to look for HDDs with at least 8MB cache. A 16MB cache HDD will show a significant improvement over a 8MB HDD when it comes to load times.
