Anyone who's been following the adventures of trademark troll Tim Langdell might be amused that his recent few actions against anyone using "Edge" in their game names (iPhone's "Edge" by Mobygames, Mirror's Edge and now "Killer Edge Racing") have been responded to en masse by iPhone developers who have ALL changed their game names to incorporate "Edge." (http://www.joystiq.com/2009/11/12/indie-devs-incorporate-edge-into-titles-to-lure-out-tim-langde/)

My favourite is "Edgeworth McEdgeington: An Adventure Game About GREED."

Making a laughing stock out of this arsehole is just delightful, and probably the only remedy.

I thought EA were taking care of this guy?

What a tool. I hope he gets put in his place. Its funny how EA stepping up to the plate shut him up, though he's at it again apparently.

here's an interesting link: http://chaosedge.wordpress.com/ These guys are a group of developers supporting Mobigames and trying to take this guy down. It would seem that digging around shows Edge Games to be a a sham. Have a read, its gold some of the stuff they have dug up. He's been caught twice stealing peoples work from deviant art to use as box art on his website. This guy is a real piece of work.

Bizarrely, EA's legal team are being rooted for as heroes as they resubmit applications to eradicate the EDGE trademarks.

My favourite comments was "Langdell is a bell-edge."

You start to wonder if the guy even exists, and it's not some kind of bizarre marketing paid for by the Illuminati.

Bought edge on iPhone a little while, mainly because ofthat whole saga. It's actually nota bad little game, either.

Latest update: EA have successfully kicked his arse. (http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2010-10-05-ea-beats-nuisance-litigator-langdell) Sounds like Langdell might even get a follow up for fraud!

The CSIRO being award finally for inventing wifi was a far more significant moment in history, but I dig this one far more.

Next, Bobby Kotick eaten by his own Man Eating Pigs while Tim Schaffer carries Jodie Foster out the barn door.

Langdell loses all his trademarks, (http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2010-10-11-timothy-langdell-is-beaten) must write to everyone he's ever ****ed with by Friday to tell them personally.

And now, apparently, his failure is complete.

Lol, Windows 95.

That wasn't even around in 91, was it!

I wonder if he tried to make it on an older OS, but couldn't work out how?

Probably hard to track down a working Windows 3.1 computer. That runs Photoshop.

A fail of more epic proportions I have not seen. I hope they make him pay all the legal fees.

He resorts to making a game, with a stupid name.

This is like when they make a sequel to a movie that has run its course. This narrative is over, get a job at Safeways.

Compulsive liar denies lying compulsively, blames others.
