Performance graphs: you can probably find a Windows Gadget or you could go for something from a program like rainmeter which is what I'm using.

Lines are from 7's show desktop hover-over preview, though I like the effect. Putting the obtrusive Chaiten electromegapyroclasm behind a pane of glass helps push it into the background.

Performance graphs: you can probably find a Windows Gadget or you could go for something from a program like rainmeter which is what I'm using.
I'll give the latter a look; I was sifting through the Windows Gadgets for a bit before coming to my senses and remembering that these sorts of galleries are always full of poorly-laid-out shit.

I don't know why I bother with the desktop icons, years of using Blackbox before W7 has weened me away from it. I just use the root of E:\ as my temporary dumping ground now.

PS:

The headphone icon in taskbar is an explorer shortcut that takes me directly to the music folder bypassing the library. It fixes the issue with "play" folder in explorer not working right with 3rd party players (Foobar, for example).

Decided to finally change mine to a cleaner layout. Got rocketdock + W7 dock for apps, no icons, and rainmeter Arc + modified Winamp Circles for FB2K.
