It's an okay list. There haven't been any really great albums released this decade in my opinion, just some very good ones.

I don't think the Yeah Yeah Yeahs deserve such a high placing, but I agree with Radiohead, The Strokes, Arcade Fire...

I hate The Libertines.

Where are Give Up by The Postal Service, the Franz Ferdinand self-titled album and Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots by The Flaming Lips? They are massive and unforgivable oversights imo. Among a number of others.

Also, it seemed really, really biased towards UK acts.

Based on what I know about Lex, I genuinely believe he's never heard of or listened to any of the metal bands I mentioned, so criticising them for being crap is pretty lame. I had numerous people telling me I should listen to that piece of shit for ages. I finally gave it a few listens and I wanted to scratch my skin off. Disgustingly obvious, tear jerker lyrics over generic pub rock + 'emotion'. 'Stabbed' is gut wrenching.

Also, the whole 'lets include nursery rhyme's in my lyrics' angle is trash.
