Anyone else play freeware adventure games?
I've just started on Yahtzee's series, 'Five Days a Stranger'.

I've played 3 of Yahtzee's games, 2 of which were akin to old Sierra adventure games...one was in a mansion and the other in space. However I enjoyed the 3rd game, Trilby: The Art of Theft, more than his adventure efforts. It was like a 2D stealth platformer, presented in a similar style to Lode Runner.
Can't say I've delved too much into other freeware adventure games, apart from those made freely available by major developers... such as Lure of the Temptress, and Beneath a Steel Sky both made by Revolution.

Yahtzee's games are pretty awesome, played the entire series, and the end of the game is one complete, brilliant mind****.
Ben There, Done That (http://www.zombie-cow.com/?page_id=17) is another excellent freeware adventure game, it's one of those adventure parody games but it's one that's actually both hilarious and most of the time actually avoids falling into those typical adventure game traps it's trying to make fun of. It also has a sequel that you have to pay for, but it's relatively cheap IIRC.
