ANNOUNCEMENT: Hyper 196

Issue 196 of Hyper is nearly upon us, and we were hoping that it would be in your hands as a nice early Christmas present. However, circumstances outside of our control have meant that the issue will be delayed by one week, meaning it will be on sale December 30, rather than the advertised date of December 23.

Long story short, the reason behind the delay stems from a little bonus something we're bundling with the issue. The supplier got slack and didn't meet its deadline, and rather than hitting news stands without it, we decided to hold back and ensure that the full deal arrives intact.

Unfortunately, this delay also impacts the timeliness of our Bayonetta review, which we had labelled as Australia's first. This would have been accurate had the magazine hit its intended release date, but by the time we were made aware of the delay, it was too late for us to make the correction.

So, apologies for the hubbub. But we hope that when issue 196 does arrive on December 30, you'll enjoy it nonetheless!

(And that you'll still consider our Bayonetta review to be the first, so Wilks doesn't look like too much of a hypocrite. You'll see.)
