Tiger Woods 10

I don't always feel like standing up to play video game golf (that's why I also own this on the 360), but when I do, I'm treated to the most realistic, nuanced golf game ever made. Wii Sports Resort may have been the company's own Motion Plus showpiece, but this game is where the dongle truly shines.

Out of all the Wii games I played this year, this was the only one that wasn't a massive disappointment (except for NERF N-Strike, but I had no expectations for that anyway). Swordfighting was awesome for a while, but Basketball kept me coming back for more.

Another terrible output of games just like last year, I've only bought one Wii game in the past twelve months. Madworld was enjoyable but far from spectacular. All hope for this console is lost now, not even Mario can save it.

Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles

It was pretty obvious after the first game there was going to be a second in the Chronicles series. I've never enjoyed or placed so much time in an on-the-rails shooter before, that and it's a completionists wet dream... what with the 200 odd collectibles'n'all.

Personally, I'm gonna wait for Red Steel 2 and Metroid: Other M before losing all hope. :p

The moment I started playing this, I felt like I was eleven years old again. Nintendo may trade on the nostalgia of the past these days, but that's no bad thing when they do it so well. Fiendish level design, hilarious multiplayer and just an overall sense of fun that's missing from many games these days.

Punch-Out!!
Shame it didn't get the publicity it deserved (you could blame JB for having a monopoly on this title). Most of the characters from the Punch-Out roster were back for this game and if you were ever a fan of the arcade and Nintendo consoles, it's a trip down memory lane.

More importantly they included a two player Vs mode where you can fight against another player.

It's like Super Mario Bros 3 with the map and being able to use items before starting level AND has the more advanced jumps from previous 3D Mario games. ****ing ace.

Seems kind of hard? or I just suck.
