Bayonetta on PS3.

So those stuck with the PS3 version (like myself). Happy you still bought it? Ive only played an hour so far but I havent seen anything that makes me regret my purchase.

Though my fear is I'll get near the end and thats when major slowdown will ruin it for me.

So those who have finished the PS3 version - does it ever get THAT BAD? I can deal with muddy textures and longer loads as long as the game remains very playable. And from what Ive played so far its perfectly fine.

Thanks

Yeah, I've finished the game 4 times and clocked over 30 hours on the game. I definitely had a few problems with the game when I first played the Japanese version 2 months back.

My main problems with the game was definitely the loading times, as some of them took way too long. I don't know what Sega was thinking when they decided to omit an installation feature, considering that Valkyria Chronicles, Yakuza Kenzan, Yakuza 3 and Virtua Fighter 5 all had optional or mandatory installations.

In terms of frame rate issues, 2 parts which stick out the most with me is the beginning at the clock tower and near the end where there is an extensive platforming section. Otherwise, most of the time, it didn't stop me from enjoying the game.

Overall tho, I had a great time with the game despite some of my issues with the technical side of things. That said though, I much prefer the PS3 controller over the 360 controller in terms of action games like this. The DS3's face buttons are much easier on the fingers due to the fact that they are flatter in shape. Also I much prefer to use the shoulder buttons on the DS3 over the bumpers on the 360 controller for locking on.
