I was helping. I didn't know it was in the instructions either, I just googled "How to replace the PS3 controller battery" and that was the result.

The problem with the PS3 controller is the fact that I have to take the whole thing apart and then order a whole new battery off eBay.

Why couldn't they design it like the xBox 360 controller?

Plus I'm having a hard time putting it back together...

Those ****ers, they get you every time, they're always trying to screw the little guy.

Actually, I'm glad the 360 design is better. Never even thought about the sudden but inevitable betrayal of my PS3's controller.

I never would have thought to look in the manual either, I mean those things are basically toilet paper.
