Three years too late and too expensive (will cost the same as a white Wii) but there you have it.

Yeah, that's a pretty sad trade-off. I'd have no real issues with paying a LITTLE for a new Wii, but $200? F*** that!

I just sold my white wii because I haven't played it in a year and half. I bought it at launch and I did get some fun out of it but I must say after I got over the motion controls gimmick, I was left with a console that had very few games and besides one or two first party games, I was left with games that looked like crap. I get the whole argument that graphics don't mean everything but very few games on wii actually offer a unique or different experience. Mario kart on wii did nothing for me that Mario Kart on gamecube couldn't ect... As far as Im concerned Nintendo are just milking every cent off people by releasing a black wii. They should focus on making games.

Both have two or three exceptional exclusives and... Some other stuff, which, if any good, are on and likely better on 360.

And it would waggle waggle waggle. Seriously though, the wii has terrible graphics\bad resolution and online play that is a joke. It has no multimedia capabilities and besides 3 or 4 first party games theres nothing to play... most likely the last Nintendo console I ever buy.

Bar wii sports bowling (both original and resort) and mad world i havent touched it. I bought my son for his 6th birthday last month Super mario brothers 2 so he can experience mario gaming but overall I have been dissapointed with the system. Im not bashing it for the sake of bashing it its just my honest opinion.

Im the same. I followed the console from the first news right through to launch and I got mine at the midnight launch. I played wii bowling to death. I played SMG and loved it. But then it sat unplayed for 18 months. I had more fun with my gamecube.

And that's my argument to people who consistently dismiss the Wii as a shovelware wasteland - there are some great titles that neither of the other systems are offering anything at all like. I agree if it was your only machine it would be a frustrating existence at times, but as a companion machine to one of the others it is very good, and occasionally brilliant.

BTW, sorry about my snappiness last night, haha. I had taken some pain killers for a dodgy hip (shut up Stevo - it was a pulled muscle, I don't need a replacement) and had two sneaky beers on top of them and that sent me through the roof. So apologies. :)
