I posted before in the Help thread but the problem is getting ridiculous.

I'm getting drop outs almost every 10 mins, sometimes even sooner. I've called up Telstra and they escalated it up to a 'level 2' job and got a technician over. They have been and gone and couldn't find anything wrong with the line.

I've tried an isolation test, still get drop outs. Can anyone help? I'm on ADSL2+ and already have a stability pack throttling down my speed. I was experiencing dropouts before so I bought a new modem/router. They both support ADSL2+ and the splitters are ADSL2+ too.

Have you tried posting on whirlpool. Likely to get a better response there.

Are you losing sync or is just the internet not working?

Is there noise on the phone line? Like crackling sounds or something?

I had that, kept dropping out my net. The ISP was useless but Smelstra did a line test and found a fault at the exchange after I rang them 15 times.

They said there is no problem with the exchange or at my house.

Yeah there is crackling on the line. Not much, but we've had trouble with the line before.

hmm... Something similar to the phone crackling happening to me. Time to put myself on hold with Failstra
