Ico & Shadow of the Colossus HD PS3

I'm sure this has been confirmed (only because of the latest word spreading around) to be released around the time of The Last Guardian which I think will be Q1 2011. Whilst this news is literally a godsend (although its merely an upgrade to the visuals ala God of War I & II, not a full remaster) there's a bit of a worry, both of these game strived for slick cardboard presentation & making it arty. Yet look at the GoW release and it looks more like a generic platinum bundle game

I'm pretty crap when it comes to creativity using Photoshop (especially Elements) but I wouldn't mind the cover looking something like this which I whipped up:

I could be wrong (there's so many rumours about this) although in a way it makes sense so I think it'll lead the same way it did with the rumour of the PS3 Slim

If this is really going to be released I think I'll cry with joy, as I've been wanting to play these games more than anyb other for the last couple of years, but just couldn't bring myself to pay the ridiculously high price for the PS2 versions.

I got both games as Christmas presents when they were new, Aus cardboard box release and everything. Both are brilliant games, but when playing them on my 720 40" LCD, both definitely look terrible.
Having said that, I still probably wouldn't get a higher res bundle. Mainly because I've played both games to death, gotten the alternate endings and really have no further reason to buy them again.

I really hope though that The Last Guardian comes in a cardboard box cover rather than plastic. If it does then I may have to do something that I've never done before and buy a game without owning the system it's on.

That's what I kind of expect them to be at, I wouldn't say rare but currently holding its original pricetag. Rare would be like Metal Slugs on the Neo-Geo :p

Lol, tbh I still think its going to happen. I read somewhere that Sony denies the rumours but we should all know by now that Sony always lies rather than admitting it

Its for the cardboard effect if they did make a cardboard version (otherwise I'd remove it for the actual printing) Tradition, ever heard of that?
