View Full Version : Anyway to make Windows 7 restart without confirming?

I always have utorrent and steam running, and would rather not have to shut them down before rebooting so when I come back to my pc I find it hasn't done anything yet.

Not to mention the always useful "*blank* is still running" question.

So basically I want to force windows to restart when I select that option without asking if I really want to 5 times. And I know this would be a problem if I ever left an unsaved word doc open or something, but I'm not likely to do that.

Ideas?

Disable User Account Control?
Restarts straight a way for me.

Sometimes there's a window saying it's waiting for steam to close but it doesn't take long.

UAC is disabled.

The confirmation windows I want it to ignore are the "*program* is still open" ones.

Dot dot dot you say?

uTorrent isn't really a problem, although it does crash on restart occasionally
