I just got it last night, up to chapter 3 at the moment...so far so good. You play the ghost of a guy who got murdered. He has no memories at all, and you will attempt to solve the mystery of why he was killed, and get your memory back along the way.

Sharp dialogue, humour, interesting characters, addictive gameplay...if you like Phoenix Wright there's a good chance you'll like this too.

All hail Shu Takumi!!

Wait the story makes no sense at all, why would you want to get your memory back if your just gonna lose all that you remembered when you clock the game and go to heaven? Ghostly spirit's solving their own murderous death... God.. what next.

No problems. I knew I would contribute to this thread in a valuable way.

Playing through this now, good to know that the ending and overall game is worth it.

Although the little I've played through it, I'm not liking the fact that you need to keep jumping between souls.

I finished it a few days ago. Once you start you definitely want to see it through until the end, although I wish the game was a bit longer. Also thought the puzzles weren't challenging enough for the most part, but it's not that big of a deal.

Missile is adorably awesome.

On a related note, has anyone here played that '9 Hours, 9 Persons, 9 Doors' game? Heard that's quite good as well.

Now that game is like reading a book.

Very little gameplay involved, but the story is absolutely amazing. You have 7 different endings, they don't skip out on the gore, and it turns into an absolutely brilliant storyline which you can replay through like Heavy Rain to get all the alternate endings.

If you don't mind a lot of reading, get 999.

I might just do that, it sounds really interesting from all the reviews I've read.

Just played through to the True Ending (got all the other endings too)...my mind is fried. Very clever the way everything ties together, goosebumps inducing even. Some parts were creepy and unsettling, not that it's a bad thing. Overall it was an amazing gaming experience, one that I won't forget anytime soon.

999 spoilers:
My original guess was that the game was gonna break the 4th wall...I was close, I think, kind of, maybe. Not gonna try to understand the timeloop thing though. Well maybe I'll do some reading on gamefaqs.
