Best free anti-virus software?

I'm aware how ridiculously weak this question is. Basically I've been using Norton for some time now and it's time to renew and i'm sure there must be a better option out there than paying about $100 for another year's protection. All I really use my laptop for is word processing, email and general internet usage.

Recommendations greatly appreciated. thanks guys

My prediction: Bethesda announce Fallout 4 for late 2014, timed Microsoft exclusive.

New Alan Wake game announced, if not shown already at May Xbox event.

Mario is cracking down on parasite YouTube game-guides giving free promotion to his games. Now "Let's Play" videos will make money directly for Nintendo, not for the video creators. Expectantly, the quality of the videos will drop.

I've never watched a Let's Play but I'm sure many poor children dreaming of someday being old enough to afford some game or other watch them a lot, like how I used to stare at screenshots in some magazine.

Gran Turismo 6

It's official. The world's most popular Skyline simulator is back. Announced during the recent 15th Anniversary event, GT6 will be the next game in the series and the second for the PS3. So far, the things they've announced for the game include:

Improved game engine
New physics engine with new suspension, tyres, kinematics and aerodynamics modelling
1,200 cars
Improved car customisation
33 tracks with 71 layouts total
Community creation and player-created online events
New course maker
Improved menu interface
Smartphone, tablet and PC connectivity

Press release is here. A demo is scheduled for July, which will also kick off the GT Academy for 2013. They're aiming for a "Holiday 2013" release, so GT fans everywhere can look forward to playing this sometime around 2016.

They also made a video.

Thought most people already understood the 'concept' of Gran Turismo, but anyway.

So this show is really good for a canon-breaking reboot of a movie series.

You should watch it and then we can talk about it. It's even playing on Australian TV so you don't even need to PUT ON THE TEA LOL!
