The revival of Valiant Comics seems that it will be successful with X-O Manowar getting some very positive advance reviews and retail orders floating around the equivalent of a middle selling Marvel/ DC series.
I have seen one random episode of Wolverine and the X-Men and it seemed not too bad. Was the Arc-Angel episode. I decided to watch the 90s series instead.
I see the Avengers: Eaths Mightest Heros as a modern equivelent to the 90's X-men Animated series. They have actually built up a lot throughout the series, some of which sets up the 2nd series. It is a bit slow to start with though as each member gets there own episode to start with before they team up all together.
It is seems to be quite accurate characterisation and story although somethings are changed around to suit the television format.
