I think the question is more about if moving him so soon was the best possible option. MotoGP seems the be the only sport - motor or otherwise - where they insist on moving the injured rider ASAP. All other sports prefer to stablise the injured person before moving them.

If Tomizawa stood a better chance of survival by not moving him so soon (and dropping one corner of his bloody stretcher in the dirt in their haste) then the race should have been red flagged.

Very true, especially as the accident was obviously a big one and it was obvious that his upper body had been injured so it would've been better to take a little care and stabilise him.

I'm really liking the words expressed by fellow riders, its really nice to see the riders support one another in this time.

In more positive news for Japanese motorsport Sauber retains Kobayashi for 2011

Awesome news, I love this kid. Super aggressive, but not batshit insane like some Japanese drivers can be.

Great news! I love watching that kid race, he's got so much energy but he's not stupid with it.

Cant wait til the 23rd when I can lap Korea for myself .
