loved this quote from the Gizmodo article on Cook;

“Cook grew up gay in Robertsdale, Alabama, the son of a retired shipyard worker. He earned a Bachelor’s degree, while gay, in industrial engineering from Auburn University in 1982 and an MBA from Duke University in 1988. Before Apple, he did a gay stint at a computer reseller called Intelligent Electronics, worked (again, while gay) in PC logistics for 12 years at IBM, and spent six gay months as VP for Corporate Materials at Compaq. He joined Apple in 1998 as senior gay vice president of operations, overseeing gay computer manufacturing. Cook was later promoted to gay chief of worldwide gayness and of the Macintosh division.”

nah, its not real, its from tmz or some such. theres a pic floating around which debunks it. i think its got something to do with how you can see the left side of the pic has been pinched, theres shadows that don't match on his neck, and like bubbling on his chin.

Burn a copy before installing it.

I am upgrading mainly for:

Messages on the Mac
Those with iPhones or iPads running iOS 5 or later will appreciate the update for Messages (and iMessage) in Mountain Lion. Now, whether on a Mac or iOS device, you'll be able to take advantage of Apple's no-cost texting features with iMessage, and the ability to send a text to an iPhone from your Mac is certainly convenient. Messages (as opposed to iMessage) will also let you communicate with the same services you did with iChat, including AIM, Yahoo, Google Talk, and Jabber.
