No one expects Dragon Age 3
Some stuff that might be true about the probable third Dragon Age suggests what was already rumoured years ago, that it will be set in Orlais and involved fighting. New rumour is you are an Inquisitor but this is questionable.

I didn't like the first one. Everyone was extremely whiny and I remember thinking at the time that "I wish I could just kill these people like I can in Oblivion."
Needless to say I never played Dragon Age II. Bring on Baldur's Gate Enhanced Edition! Bioware at their peak. |

I liked the first one, eventually. I'd suggest it's actually a little too long though. The second game was embarassing - graphically ugly and bland from the start, the whole game felt like it was made from painted styrofoam and enemies had no mass. The story and character failed to interest and the game stripped out staple features like customisation, which they argued was to make it more like Mass Effect. Every design decision in te game felt like it was motivated by a desire to make the game cheaper and quicker to make and "broaden appeal" - yet on that last one the effect was to alienate existing fans and fail to attract new people, who don't want that sort of game anyway.

I got about halfway thru DA then was given a copy of DA2 (that I havent play yet as I havent finished DA) but I have Skyrim, Dragons Dogma & kingdoms of Amalur all yet to be completed so i cant be fudged going back to them tbh so a part 3 isnt on my radar whatsoever.
