It's possible I hadn't set it up in the Steam community page at that time. Try now.

Not at home PC at the moment, so cant add you guys in. Now the ones in the hyper group which have joined can invite others. They can now send you a invite also.

How?
1. Open steam friends
2. Click add name
3. Place in the user name
4. Once added right click their name.
5. Pop up box > Invite to group > Hyperactive
6. Invite has now been sent.

Hyper TF2 is a good idea ^_^
